Mobile Hoof
Trimming Crate
Tow it in, set up, and have all four feet up in under 21 seconds. A rollover crate that travels from farm to farm.
Built in Co. Cork · over a decade on Irish farms
The same crate, on the road
The INSPECT4 mobile hoof trimming crate does everything the fixed crate does — turns the animal, restrains all four feet hydraulically, puts the work at waist height — but goes wherever the cattle are.
It tows behind a jeep or van on a twin axle, and is ready to work in minutes. Built to order in Co. Cork, where the INSPECT4 has been in production since 2013, and galvanised throughout because it lives outdoors.

One crate, every job
What the crate is used for
Hoof care
Routine paring and inspection, treating lame cows and bulls, blocking and bandaging — all four feet accessible and secure.
Heifer teat sealing
The animal is restrained and still, with the udder at working height, so sealing can be done in a hygienic and efficient environment by one person.
General handling
Dry cow and mastitis tubes, dehorning, castrating and dosing — the jobs that need an animal held properly.
In their own words
What professional trimmers say
What I like about the crate is how quick and easy it is to set up. The animals load easily, are relaxed on their side and I’m at perfect height to work on them. For teat sealing it’s a super job, operator and heifers are safe. A well designed efficient machine.
Michael MontgomeryProfessional Hoof Trimmer
The Inspect4 Rollover Crate is both cow and trimmer friendly. It’s easy to load cows into it and feet are well presented for trimming. The selection of shoes, glue, bandages and derm paste at HoofCareDirect work for me to get good results when treating lame cows.
Chris MurphyProfessional Hoof Trimmer
The Inspect4 Rollover Crate takes the hardship out of trimming for man and beast. The customer is happy seeing cows/bulls trimmed in such comfort. Super knives, wouldn’t use any other.
Martin MurphyProfessional Hoof Trimmer
The only way to handle cattle in the 21st century. Whether it’s for hoof trimming or teat sealing it’s the safest system for both animal and operator. Great attention to detail in the design, no stone was left unturned.
